  • I accomplish “MORE” with less

  • Frugality does not mean saving money. I can be frugal with more things than money. I can also “SAVE TIME” or “OPTIMIZE RESOURCES”.

  • Frugality actually means that constraints can help “DRIVE CREATIVITY” & “INNOVATION”. After all, if you don’t have money to spend, you’ll have to find ways to do things more cheaply or efficiently.

  • Constraints breeds resourcefulness, self sufficient, innovation, improvisation and invention.

  • I understand that we do not have unlimited resources. Resource constraints is not a huge problem that will stop me from succeeding; it’s something I can deal with.

  • “TIME” is money. “RESOURCES” are money I am frugal with TIME & RESOURCES.

  • Tell me about a time when you had to work with limited time or resources.

  • How will you manage projects with no budget and no resources?

  • Tell me about a time where you thought of a new way to save money for the company.

  • Describe a time when you had to manage a budget (or manage time/money/resources/etc.). Were you able to get more out of less?

Interviewers Motive

  • What will you do if the company is short on resources and time? Do you give up or find creative ways to solve the problem?

  • Is throwing money, hirning resources your way to solve the problem?

  • Are you one of those people who come back and complain that there are no resources on the project so the project is delayed?

  • Are you a responsible person? Especially if you are going to handle budget/Opex etc.? Do you value company's money and resources or are you a spendthrift?
